beefy tee This is a tight fit, but there are 16 load switches in the load bay (useful because we could put this cabinet anywhere as an knock down temporary replacement). The wires are small gauge, because this is a photo from the shop testing. The wires go to a Mitchell tester. The actual field wires are much more beefy. You can see the Reno flash transfer relays. These have a red indicator LED when they are functioning correctly. A nice feature, since you can open up the cabinet door, and get a visual indication that the relays are working properly. Note that in a 332 style Caltrans Tees cabinet, the red light turns on only when the signal goes into flash. On a NEMA TS2 Type 1 cabinet, the red LED\'s are on during normal stop and go operation, and then turn off when the signal goes into flash. There is, just barely, room to put in an Autoscope Terra video detection system. We could squeeze a TIP and TAP into this cabinet if we had to. After looking into this, I would probably remove the loop detection tie panel (the green panel on the left side of the cabinet) and the detector rack to incorporate video detection. This cabinet was delivered with only 1 detection rack (that\'s all the room it had), with 16 channels of loop detection.
